if you happen to be around and want to encourage a group of great kids, stop on by.

As to Darfur in general, most of you probably saw the news that Sudan kicked out all aid workers after the United Nation's International Criminal Court indicted several of Sudan's leaders. If you'll pardon a political comment here, the U.S. government was caught completely flat footed by this -- does anybody really think President Obama, after being the Democrats face on the Darfur issue for two years in the senate and having Samantha Power as a representative, really needs a fact-finding special envoy? I think this is a far more plausible explanation:

In any event, agree or disagree with the above if you can spare a moment, call the White House comment line and just tell them you are paying attention to the Administration's actions on Darfur, it will go a long way towards how much attention they will give the issue.
